Mucho Machismo in Oakland

 “Mucho Machismo”
Spoke Art’s new Oakland pop up gallery and boutique features a rotating selection of original art and prints. Tomorrow night, in conjunction with Oakland’s First Fridays Art Murmur – Spoke  opens their latest poster exhibit, “Mucho Machismo” curated by artist Jon Smith.

Featuring a stellar line up including Tim Doyle, Gabz, Justin Anville, Oliver Barrett, Jon Smith, Alan Hynes and many, many more. “Mucho Machismo” is a celebration of 90s pop culture, a time in American history where masculinity was fueled by steroids and cocaine in what was in retrospect a shockingly innocent and carefree time.

Spoke Art
520 2nd Street
Oakland, CA 94607

Exhibition Dates: Sept. 7 -26th, 2012
